Garden Lady

Licensed Real Estate Agent

Personal Biography

As a Realtor I see  the garden as a major portion of a homes "curb appeal" much like the architecture.  The reason one buys a home/condo is the beauty one receives from the green that surrounds it.  Most of the homes that sell for top dollar in San Francisco and around the Bay, someone has given consideration to the plants and gardens surrounding them.

One of my favorite childhood memories was outside in the garden watering the plants and grass.  It was a peaceful place as the fourth born child in a house full of kids I spend my share and a few others' share of time in the garden.

My life has had many seasons of youth, dating and falling in love with my high school sweetheart and marrying that special man.  College and work pursuits filled the next decade climbing the corporate ladder in the Property and Casualty Insurance class as an underwriter.

Finding our first "El Dumpo" case in the city meant finding a fixer and spending countless hours earning some sweat equity.  When my great corporate job decided to leave the city I had to make a decision.  Our choice, was to start a family. Then to stay home with our children full time (for 6 months I thought).  My babies became toddlers and spending time in the garden sand box and cutting a garden out of the jungle we had was a family affair filled with sunny days and sand in our shoes.

Today my neighbors tell me when they walk by our house and garden that they make a point of walking by just to see what is new in the beautiful roses and other flowers.  Bright colors are my favorite site.  I have pictures on my facebook page of the flowers in my yard taken by an amature photographer who lives around the corner.

As a REALTOR I talk to many buyers and sellers about the gardens in each place.  Few seem to know what kind of trees are growing in the yard and we together see the need for new flowers and plants to be nurtured.
