She studies housing market daily and writes weekly reports on housing market availability in nine Inland Empire cities – Chino, Claremont, Fontana, La Verne, Montclair, Ontario, Pomona, Rancho Cucamonga, Upland – on her website, www.ilajosephs.com, which offers a wealth of information for home buyers and sellers.

Specialties: Ila specializes in traditional single-family homes, but also works with buyers of condominiums and planned unit developments. A mobilehome park owner for many years, she is very familiar with the construction and design of manufactured housing and mobilehomes as well, though she does not represent buyers or sellers of mobilehomes located on leased land.

Additional Services: Ila prepares a comprehensive neighborhood pricing comparison and in-depth evaluation of properties her clients are considering. She provides personal service, and uses a team of professionals in real estate and related fields.

She has completed the 12-course Graduate Realtor Institute and has been awarded the Seniors Real Estate Specialist designation. She is currently enrolled in the e-Pro program to maximize her already extensive computer skills.

Other: Ila grew up on an Iowa farm and attended colleges in Iowa and Ohio, earning a M.A. in theoretical linguistics at Ohio University. She moved to California in 1975 and worked as a reporter and editor for local newspapers. She served as city editor of the Ontario Daily Bulletin and was instrumental in implementing the format that continues to be used by the Inland Valley Daily Bulletin newspaper. She has owned/operated/managed investment property for more than 20 years and can assist clients in successfully developing their own real estate portfolio.
