I'm deaf, but had surgery (cochlear implant) in May 2006, and truly hearing for the first time. I've always been interested in Real Estate--how the market fluctuates and affects everything and everyone; how people choose to relocate, need a new home, downsize, upsize, invest; and, yeah, I like to look at homes to see what they're like. Since Real Estate is so communication-oriented, I never felt I could be a Realtor...until I started hearing. Six weeks later, I signed myself up for Real Estate school, and got started.

Gosh, it's a challenging career! I love that it's challenging, yet dislike the hard work and time that all seem to be for free (working for nothing). I love that I always have to learn and grow. I love working with people, and helping them to achieve their real estate goals and desires. I've had to "fire" a couple of clients...I wonder if another agent picked them up just when they became desperate, obtained a quick sale, and easily received my hard earned commission...ugh.

Anyway, I'm still learning how to use the phone, learning to hear and understand all kinds of voices, accents and the speeds in which Realtor's talk!...oh my gosh! Just slowwww down a bit :-)

I'm a mother of 3 grown children. Married to my wonderful husband--since February ,1979.  I follow Jesus Christ. I love life.
