Professional Biography
Carmen Multhauf is a licensed real estate broker with multiple professional designations and 30 years of real estate experience including ownership of a brokerage and a position as regional director of a franchise organization. She has been active with organized real estate serving as local Association President and as a Director with the California Association of REALTORS®. She has chaired various committees and earned a REALTOR® of the Year award. Carmen founded Training and Broker Services (TABS) and authored the Real Estate Guide Series, which provides a "hands on" approach to real estate practice for both new and experienced licensees. TABS is the exclusive provider of License Renewal home study programs for the California Association of REALTORS®. She also authored the original SRES® designation education module and has created the Generational Housing Specialist™ designation, co-authored by her researcher husband.
Lloyd G. Multhauf, PhD has been a contributor to the TABS publications and applied his penchant for research and observations about how people interact to the book "Generational Housing: Myth or Mastery” which was awarded the Robert Bruss Book Award issued by the National Association of Real Estate Editors. He earned a Ph.D. in Physics from Pennsylvania State University and spent his first career as a scientist, researcher and administrator at a national laboratory.
