Debbie Ezzell

I have been in the Real Estate Industry for 29 years.  I began my career in Downey, California in 1980.  My mother encouraged me to move to California from Texas and work with her at a Century 21 office in Downey, CA.  In 1986 I met and married my husband Larry, a native of California, and he loved my native home of Texas so much that shortly after we married we moved back to Texas, and have been here since 1986.

I originally worked in Arlington, Texas for Van Zandt Realtors where  I was an associate and also helped train other new associates.  That is where I got the teaching bug.  When my husband was transfered to East Texas in 1992, I began teaching real estate courses at Kilgore College in Longview, TX at night and managed a Century 21 office during the day.  Currently  I am the General Manager at ERA Five Star Realty in Tyler, TX  where I have worked for the past five years.  This year I am the acting Secretary for the Board of Directors for the Greater Tyler Association of Realtors, and I also enjoy serving my fellow Texas Realtors as a member of the Professional Standards Committee. 

I love this business, I am good at it, and it has allowed me to meet so many people and be an asset to the  community in which I live.
