Cindy Larson

I have had an opportunity to live in many places in my life. From Central California'  San Joaquin Valley, Attending Chowchilla High School, Graduated 1975 with 96 other students. Did I mention small town? We have lived in Stockton, Modesto, Fresno, and Morrow Bay and then to Loma Linda in 1992 and we purchased our home in Highland in 1995.

 I love it here! I have had the opportunity to see it grow from a sleepy little suburb to a thriving small city in just a few years. I commend our City council for growing responsibly and slowly and taking into consideration all the growing pains we have had.

I am very active in my Church, Community Cross, in Historic Highland. We were a small church when I first started attending now we have over 250 people attending various groups and programs.  I am active in Children’s ministry. I currently am a guide for our Caravans Program. This is a Christian based scouting program where the kids learn through earning badges for life skills and memory work. I have been called to fulfill a larger roll by becoming the Director of the program in the next session.

I love to travel, Hawaii is my favorite place to visit! It is our land our money our language and it is only a 5 hour plane ride. I love wild life, whales are magnificent creatures that inhabit our oceans. I feel compelled to assist in the efforts to keep our oceans clean.

We have enjoyed learning about our history by traveling to different historical places, we still have more to do and see, then we might venture over to England, and Australia is on our travel list.

 I am an avid reader, I really like a good mystery, and Sue Grafton is my favorite Author. I have read all her Alphabet books. I also have read the Left Behind series and the Joshua Series as well.
