I am a native Texan and grew up in Abilene. I attended college at Hardin-Simmons University and received my degree in Communications. During my college years I worked as a director at the local CBS news station.  As soon as I graduated,  I knew I wanted to move to Austin, so I did just that.  I moved to Austin in 1999 and worked at KVUE (ABC) for 2 years.  While working at KVUE, I purchased my first home and became interested in home sales.  So I decided then to make the career change to real estate.

I became a licensed real estate agent  in 2001 and  received my real estate broker's license in 2004.  I worked for JBGoodwin Realtors for over 3 years and RE/MAX Austin Skyline for 4 years.  I now own  Austin Avenue Real Estate Company which is a boutique realty company focused on providing my clients exceptional service.  My interest in real estate began when I closed on the purchase of my own home.  As a first time homebuyer, I was glad to have the professional assistance to walk me through the home buying process.  

As a Realtor^®, I always try to go beyond expectations to make sure my clients experience a smooth real estate transaction.   Most of my business comes from referrals. For this reason, it is extremely important that I have satisfied clients. The best thank you to me is a referral from a past client of mine.

I am married but do not have any children.  My husband, Andrew, is a real estate Appraiser so he is very understanding and supportive of my crazy work schedule which works out great.  As for personal interests..... I love running and cycling.  I also enjoy shopping, live music, festivals, traveling, and  spending time with family and friends.  It will only take a few minutes spent with me to realize how much I truly love living in Austin.  This is my home and hopefully always will be.  I feel very fortunate to live in this amazing city.
