"They" say it's all in the timing... Nearly a year ago, I decided it was time for a career change. Who knew the real estate market had "peaked" and we'd have the sub-prime fiasco? Yep, timing.

Well, despite that, I believe that what comes down will eventually rise again. I'm sure we all hope sooner rather than later. I have colleagues that are having their best year ever!

I've learned the key is to stay positive... Surround yourself with positive people, positive energy... Keep a sense of humor... Work hard... Experiment... Challenge yourself... Keep sowing your seeds and you will reap the fruits. Sound corny, naive? Perhaps. But a successful colleague reminded me that, "During the 1980's we sold houses when interest rates were 18%!" I know. I bought one - and lived to tell the tale.
