I began my real estate career a little over three years ago. I got into real estate mainly because I had some money to invest and wanted to invest in undervalued properties and foreclosures. What better way to find the deals than by being around the market?

When I began selling real estate I had just moved to Cache Valley and didn't know anyone here. So I devoted my efforts and time to what I new, marketing on the internet and made my first website devoted to real estate, AlanSharpBarker.com. I received a bachelors degree in business marketing from BYU-Idaho in 2001 and an Associates degree in Computer Information Systems in 2001.

My internet marketing brought me many buyers looking for Logan Utah Homes. I branded myself as a buyers specialist and worked exclusively with buyers for almost two years. At that point I was so busy working with demanding clients  that I flat out burned myself out.

During the winter of 2007/2008 Ben and Robert Brown formed Cornerstone Real Estate Professionals. They recruited me to create their web page, do the internet marketing, as well as be a real estate agent. We also created a for sale by owner program and program to help  Cache Valley residents facing foreclosure. Now as an agent I focus exclusively on listing and marketing Utah Homes and refer buyers to other agents. This service I provide for other agents includes agents in my office in Logan, as well as

in all of Utah.
