I'm a licensed real estate appraiser - I've been doing residential appraisals in the Sacramento region since 1984. Before that I was an agent in Southern CA., working for a developer purchasing land. I'm working on getting ready to take the Broker test so I can do BPOs as I cannot do them with my appraiser hat on, the forms used do not conform to USPAP (Standards mandated by the appraisal folks).

I am also certified as a Machinery and Equipment appraiser, see my website at www.certifiedmachineappraisal.com, for those of you who may have a  need for values on non-realty items. BTW, the IRS mandates sales of businesses to include an appraisal of Machinery and Equipment to separate those from the Real Estate portion and the "Blue Sky" components, and no the RE appraiser cannot do it unless he has special training and experience!

I am setting up a relationship with a bank - to originate FHA loans of a special kind. More about that when the paperwork is done!!
