Michael Fair

I have developed and instructed real estate courses since 1984 and have helped thousands of students pass their real estate exams. Currently I write and teach courses for the Illinois Academy of Real Estate. I am also the director of the Academy and a real estate education consultant.

I have been involved in some form of the real estate business since 1974 and my experience includes: new home construction, real estate sales, property management, real estate office management, real estate financing, and real estate education.

My credentials include public speaking and management consulting. I have served as content advisor for Modern Real Estate Practice in Illinois, 3^rd ed., Environmental Issues,3^rd ed., Ethics in Today’s Real Estate World; all published by Dearborn Financial Publishing and the Compu-Cram Exam Prep, published by Hondros College.

I am a member of the National Association of Realtors®, the Illinois Association of Realtors®, the Real Estate Educator’s Association, and the Illinois Association of Real Estate Educators.

I am happily married to my wife Laurie and  have 5 adult children and five grandchildren. I enjoy reading, volunteering at church and activities with my family.
