Laurel Grandle earned her real estate license in 1984; since then, she has worked with and learned from some of the industry’s top agents and coaches, taking and teaching courses in TN, CA, TX, FL, NC, VA, LA, MS, GA, IL, SC, WVA, Canada, to enhance her understanding of the market and all aspects of real estate.

Laurel is a member in good standing of the National, State and Local Associations of REALTORS®; she has been honored as REALTOR® OF THE YEAR by her Local Women’s Council of REALTORS® twice and by the State of TN as their REALTOR® OF THE YEAR in 2007. She was Tennessee’s Business Woman of the Year in 2008.

Laurel understands that the purchase of a home is often the largest purchase a person will make in their lifetime and she believes that REALTORS® have an obligation to be well educated to provide the level of service and protection their clients deserve. Laurel is constantly furthering her knowledge and has earned many designations, including: Certified Residential Specialist, Accredited Luxury Home Specialist (the ONLY one in TN), Historic Home Specialist, Transnational Relocation Specialist, Graduate, REALTORS® Institute, Performance Management Network.

Her work ethic didn’t start in the real estate industry, but followed her from her past: When she was 7 years old, she convinced her father to build a vegetable market for her, from which she sold produce from her home garden, on Highway 60 in her native Virginia. She is self-educated, having earned a Bachelor’s Degree and a Master’s Degree from VA Tech. When scholarships did not cover all her expenses, she worked as a librarian and Audio-Equipment Specialist; she worked 3 part-time jobs while completing her Master’s Degree in less than a year.

Laurel knows how to use the latest internet technologies to market and find homes at an expert level. She understands the minutia of real estate and is an expert at educating her clients so they can make the best decisions for achieving their goals. Her motto is, “I’d Love to Help!”…and it’s SO TRUE. She really enjoys helping people get what they want and she takes great pride in her hands-on approach to her clients and is well supported by her professional team at Exit Realty Knoxville.

An avid supporter and advocate for Habitat for Humanity for over 20 years, having assisted with erection of homes in TN and after Katrina in New Orleans. Laurel has always donated a portion of every commission to Habitat for Humanity and she also donates to Children’s Miracle Network, Muscular Dystrophy Association, Diabetes Association, March of Dimes and many other worthy causes. Laurel is proud of the fact that EXIT REALTY INTERNATIONAL has given over $1.5 MILLION to Habitat and built 10 Habitat Houses.
