Jim Gilbert

I had two previous careers as a Chemical Engineer/Manager and as a Pastor before becoming a Realtor. From engineering, I bring the ability to solve problems and to handle the details of transactions for my clients. From my pastoral years, I bring a genuine care for my clients that enables me to put their interests first. 

I enjoy the interaction with people from many walks of life, and am blessed to be able to help them achieve their dream of buying or selling properties in the Austin, Texas and Central Texas area. I recently joined a growing, service- and technologically-oriented realty company in Austin, and am looking forward to growing our business even in these challenging times.

I have been married to Claire, my assistant at Heart of Austin Homes, for almost 40 years now. We have three daughters ... and now five grandsons. Claire enjoys helping to develop our business. She is a seamstress and wonderful friend. I enjoy golf as I have the opportunity (Keeping You in the Real Estate Fairway!), reading and church.
