If home is where the heart is, then Georgetown, Texas is my hometown. I have loved this small city ever since the first time I drove down the tree-lined streets of Old Town. Georgetown is one of the fastest growing cities in the nation, which is ironic because I think the reason people are attracted to Georgetown is our small-town atmosphere. The citizens here are working hard to manage the growth so that we retain that wonderful sense of community, while welcoming the benefits of growth. As a member of the Leadership Georgetown class of 2008, I intend to play a role in our development.
