I have managed various real estate offices, most recently the largest office for Prudential in Northern California. I have determined at this time to focus on my own business, family and interests leaving no time for herding cats. Thus, I have stepped out of the management role for now. I am enjoying the total return to residential real estate.

I have many years deeply invested in real estate technology in such endeavors as REEPCO (now InternetCrusade), RETechTrax, ePro, Altavista.com, NAR's RIN and Realtor.org as well as being an educator in the real estate technology arena for several years.

I have also determined that I am an avid proponent of radical change in how we in the real estate industry need to restructure our business models - away from transaction-dependent contingent commissions and toward service models that are more client-centric and allow the consumer full choice when it comes to selecting the services they want us to perform on their behalf.

I am referring to the consulting model that is fast becoming the new way of thinking. Providing fair and professional service and being paid a fair and reasonable fee for those servces every time I am engaged by a client, whether there is a sale involved or not, is what attracted me. Allowing the consumer to have full choice in terms of the services they want makes me an evangelist for the consultoing model.
