Charles Cease

 Charles Cease was recently appointed to the position of Chief Operating Officer (COO) at BGS3, the National Processing Center for Short Sales.  BGS3 works with Realtors and lenders in all 50 states and major markets assisting homeowners in finding alternative solutions to home foreclosure.  Through programs incented by Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, BGS3 is currently processing $250M in preforeclosure sales.  Cease also serves as the Chairman of the company’s operating committee, overseeing day-to-day operations and the execution of BGS3’s annual plan and operating budget. 

Cease has an extensive operations background.  Most recently he was a Director at the New York based Leviton, one of the largest privately held companies in the U.S.  In his role as Director, he led the creation and implementation of a newly established business entity from inception.  His focus and attention led to the creation of new sales channels and marketing and training strategies, expanding this subsidiary of the company to expand its interest into international markets.   Prior to his term as an executive at Leviton, Cease served as Division Manager for the former Efficient Enterprises (Las Vegas), today a division of Wolseley PLC (UK:WOS),  and was the driving force behind efforts such as ISO certification and expanding the overall business through the creation of new business verticals and new business entities. 

In the 1990’s as a young entrepreneur,  Cease formed Sound Designs, LLC., a design and installation firm specializing in state-of-the-art residential technologies.  After opening offices in Las Vegas and Park City, Ut., Mr. Cease sold the company in 2001.

Cease holds a Bachelors Degree in Mathematics from the University of Louisville and an MBA from the University of Phoenix.  He resides in Crestwood, Kentucky with his wife of 19 years and their four children.
