Professional Biography

Brett Furniss is the founder and President of BDF Realty and Rent-To-Sell Realty, which have been in business since 2003 and 2007, respectively. Brett graduated Magna Cum Laude from Grand Canyon University (Phoenix, AZ) with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business (Marketing) and completed his Masters in Business Administration degree from the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. 

Prior to starting BDF Realty, Brett had a highly distinguished career in sales in the telecommunications field. For the Campus Dimensions subsidiary of AT&T, he was ranked #1 in sales in the AZ market, as well as #5 nationally. For Nextel Communications, he rose to be #19 nationally in Corporate & Government sales.

Brett is currently is currently involved in many professional organizations such as the National / North Carolina / Charlotte Association of Realtors, NC Property Management Division, and the Metrolina Real Estate Investment Association. He also has volunteered through SEED Charlotte, Jacob’s Ladder, League of Women Voters, and the Fair and Affordable Housing Council. He recently completed his first e-book, “How to Rent-To-Sell Your Own Home.”
 
Personally, Mr. Furniss lives in “Uptown” Charlotte and enjoys playing basketball, writing, hiking, reading, and traveling.
