I came to grow up in Tempe, Arizona after my father passed away in the US Air Force. I had lived at Williams Air Force Base, outside Mesa in the early 1960's. My mother moved our family to Tempe after my father died.
Tempe was and still is a great city to grow up in and reside. I feel very lucky that I got to see the Valley of the Sun grow up as I did. Arizona has now been discovered by so many people that it is hard to find natives or others who grew up here. This is where I have a great knowledge base of real estate. I worked for a New Homes builder while I was going to school at Arizona State University (ASU). Little did I know then that this area would boom at least 5 other times and grow faster and larger than I could have imagined.
Today I am active in the resale market as well as the New Home market which has continued to grow and move south into Pinal County in cities like Maricopa, Queen Creek, Anthem in Florence, Coolidge, Casa Grande, Eloy, Arizona City.
It is HOT here in Arizona and I am not speaking of the weather only. The real estate market is going through another turn that will right itself in time to move on and create some wonderful communities and neighborhoods. I understand and appeciate this from my knowledgeg and experience. I am positive that we will continue to grow and be one of the most desirable places to live in the country.
