About Me

After a 25 year career in the Automotive service industry owning several business'  Dealing with the general public on a daily basis I moved to Sedona Arizona in 1990 to start a new life.

With my best friend for the last 22 years (my wife Julie) and my two sons I wanted the warmth of the sun for longer than 5 or 6 months a year. We came from Salt Lake City Utah and have never looked back.

I started a Repair shop in Sedona in 1993 Called Desert Auto and 4X4  and sold it in 2001 (Its still in operation today) .  For several reasons I just could not do it anymore.

I took a Year off to try and decide what I wanted to do and be for the rest of my life and came to the conclusion that as a middle aged gray haired man that had been his own boss for many years there were not many jobs that I felt would fit me.

That's when I decided Real Estate was something that would spark that new fire that had faded away  in my life. Going to the class'  to get my license was a bit hard for me at first but then as I started to learn this complicated business it became just what I had hoped for.

Something to look forward to each day, Meeting new people has always been something I enjoyed but in the past most of the people I met had problems with there second most valuable possession (The Car). This new "career" is great !  People are looking for a Home and are Happy most of the time when we meet.

I have found great satisfaction when I can hand the keys to a Home to my client instead of the keys to there car and a large repair bill to be paid. As an Automotive Technician I prided myself in staying up on changes and updates in the industry and I strive to do the same with Real Estate.

This last November I went to class again and passed the Brokers test, I will be activating that license this month when my agent license is due for renewal, I will be staying with Beaver Creek Realty as an Assoc. Broker as this new title was for the knowledge and not to open my own firm and I will continue to strive to become the best I can at what I do.

In conclusion as my client or customer you can count on me to work hard for you to meet your goals in the  Real Estate market, Be it buying or selling my motto is I will work just as hard for $100.00 as I do for $1,000.00 with a Small Town Attitude and a Big City Knowledge.
