• Jul. 12, 2008 - Freddie & Fannie Need Overhauling?
I have been following John Mauldin’s emails and articles on the economy and his thoughts about challenges and solutions that we in the USA have to face head on. John has said recently in an article from his Frontline Thoughts that we need to Take Freddie Mac. Please. I would encourage everyone to follow this article and the other links included to see the seriousness of our situation at hand when it comes to the state of our economy. On the other hand, it would be wise of all of us to focus mainly on the solutions. That’s one thing I like about Mr. Mauldin’s writing is that he offers some solutions to the fiasco we are in.
On a lighter note, I always revert back to what Mother Theresa said when asked by a sympathetic spectator, what they could do to help the starving poor of Calcutta. Mother Theresa responded that “Your Calcutta is just down the street, go help someone in your own neighborhood or your own community and we can each help solve the world’s problems.
Maybe our financial duties need to start right here in our own household, business and community. What do you think?
