Inventory remains high throughout the suburbs of Okemos, Holt, Grand Ledge and Dewitt, which means buyers have plenty to pick from.

Well, here's the 4th Quarter results for the greater Lansing real estate market, although it's history now, it does give us some solid facts and figures to measure our upcoming spring market for 2008. Note, that the report breaks down each community so you can get facts and figures on Grand Ledge, Holt, Okemos, Dewitt and all the other areas of Lansing. I have also included the NAR update on homeownership. The reason for this is because there has never been a better time to buy a house then right now. Interest rates are at new lows, there is plenty of properties to pick from, and pricing has came back to reality after the inflated numbers we saw from 2001 to 2005.

Bedroom community living in the greater Lansing real estate market has plenty to offer, in addition to a great variety of homes for sale.
Here are four such areas being highlighted for your home buying research. Downtown Dewitt has plenty to offer the consumer when it comes to businesses. The Downtown Development Authority has made great strides to promote the quality of living in a small community. Grand Ledge has plenty of wonderful businesses, churches, and community activities. Grand Ledge is a great place to live, and close to Delta Township, which offers great schools, churches, and businesses. Okemos is part of Meridian Township that makes up a vast area, offering a strong sense of community, an active parks and recreation department and great school system.

Home Buyers in the greater Lansing real estate market thinking that rates have to drop further before you make a move, I am pleased to share with you, that pricing and rates will cross paths eventually and you could miss opportunities for low rates, low prices and more to pick from.
Coldwell Banker Mortgage Co. Just sent this to me. The average principal and interest payment on a $250,000 loan has dropped by $131.83 per month since August 3, 2007.
