Hello all.  I'm sure you know that there are deals everywhere right now to be had, but I must say, in the last month, I have seen an all time low.  If you had told me that there would be homes available in Squaw Valley for 699K or in Alpine for 400K, I would have dropped dead!   There are short sales and foreclosures to be had galore in Truckee if you're interested... Quite a few on the Westshore of the Lake too.  There is even a lakefront available on Donner Lake for less than 1.5 mill., still a lot of money, but not for that.. We just had our first snow, and I am not ready.  I have not finished cleaning out my summer clothes, and I just dread putting on the so many layers it already requires to go out.  Once we have enough to ski, it will be fun.  But until then, just cold and boring!!!!! We call this the shoulder season.  It's very quite though, so nice if you don't like crowds.  I'm having to work twice as hard for the same amount of work, but what do they say...?  "When the going gets tough..."  I"m back to work now.
