HER "in a jam"

"The founder of HER Realtors is celebrating the real estate brokerage's 50th anniversary with jam - lots and lots of jam.

Harley E. Rouda Sr., a canner for the past 20 years, said he began planning last summer for an extra 100 jars of his annual production of cherry, raspberry, strawberry and peach jams to give to the sellers of houses in Upper Arlington, the brokerage's hometown, throughout 2006.

Son Harley E. Rouda Jr., CEO of the expanded Real Living Inc. brokerage network, pushed dad into giving the jars to buyers as well, adding another 100 jars to the production schedule."

The fruit for the jam is from Ohio orchards according to the Columbus Business First Article. It's reputed to be some of the best home-made jam in Central Ohio.
