Feb. 10, 2010 - Industry News Sites Announce National MLS
Discussions with clients have all been so serious lately, with everyone fretting about RPR and everything else that's going to completely change the world of MLS forever. I'll remind you that last year everyone was quivering in their boots about VOWs.
If you have been extra distracted you probably didn't notice that a national MLS infrastructure was launched and that "national online MLS will soon be a fact of life" ... here's the scoop from industry news sites Rismedia and Inman News!
Rismedia - 6/18/2002
"VISTAinfo National MLS Infrastructure Launches"
VISTAinfo, a leading San Diego-based business-to-business, e-commerce and information services company for the real estate profession, has launched a technology-fueled real estate rocket with its creation of the first online National MLS Infrastructure (NMI).
Inman News - 11/7/2003
"The case for a national MLS"
Like it or not, a national online MLS will soon be a fact of life. The question is how will agents and broker-owners adapt in this competitive environment where everyone has access to everything?
Note the dates. Sorry, I just couldn't wait till April 1st.
