New Blog Entry for Realtown

The Internet has become such a great resource for networking with fellow real estate agents.  Yet as we head into the new year don't forget to consider the resources right under your nose.

Actively working with a fellow real estate agent can double your spending dollars.  By sharing ideas and trying different things together in a concerted marketing effort you can double your exposure, and cut your spending dollars in half.  No one knows the local market like yourself and another local realtor.

I was happy to meet a fellow Realtor, in our office who has the talent, motivation, enthusiasm, creativity, technology skills, and vision to put a team marketing approach together.  All the agents in my office are very friendly and free to share ideas and so forth.  This relationship however is taken to a higher level.  We meet once a month for a business lunch with a full agenda to discuss new ideas, strategies, information etc.  We still have our own clients, but now we will be utilizing both agents' numerous websites thus doubling the Internet exposure for our listings for our Sellers.  We are looking to see which websites deliver the best results. (On that note, the best things in life are free- check out Point 2 NLS one of our favorite sites and it is free for 6 months and really cheap after that).  We are also discussing researching different strategies and systems to help deliver premier services to our Buyers.

By sharing our new creative marketing ideas we can hone in and sharpen our designs.

Through working together, we have also become close friends.  What a great added benefit from our efforts.  The collaboration feels wonderful and the benefits of utilizing different marketing is very economical.
