Chaos Reins

Mar. 27, 2009

New Blog Entry for Realtown

Can it be possible that with increased brain activity and problem solving a person might set off electro magnetic fields unknowingly when they find themselves involved in intense negotiations for clients?  I am thinking this must be the very reason for all the chaos that I experience from the electronic office machinery while I am swamped with transactions.  The fax machine will be running perfectly, along with the computers and the printers, but the instant I must get documents to clients and/or agents through email or e-fax , boom all methods for this simple task seems to be riddled with problems.

That's right that super slick brand new laser printer and scanner that promised to have all the bells and whistles (including cooking you breakfast) will suddenly fail at the most intense moment when I must get documents across the state.  Oh no it does not matter that this very sophisticated equipment has been working perfectly for some time (when things were slower.)  Guaranteed the crucial moment I must have the equipment working it simply refuses to cooperate.  Ok I think to myself I can use a backup system and so I attempt to fax.  Next thing I know the fax is jamming over and over and will not send.  Ok I will go to my computer and use a digital copy I have on there; oh woops the hard drive just crashed.  At this point three backup systems have failed, and I am not sure if I should a) just jump off a cliff or b)drive home and see if my home office can get this simple task completed.  Now what should have been three minutes to accomplish is going on 5 hours.  This very scenario keeps happening more times than not. To verify this is not a user issue or rather a miss-user issue, I enlist my colleagues to witness that all the darn critical machinary is truly malfunctioning at this important juncture.

I have concluded that my brain must be working so hard in these situations that unknowingly I am sending off electro magnetic radiation and getting all the electronic equipment that is sensitive to e-mag rays to malfunction.  I mean what other plausible reason could it be?
