From time to time I run across good articles I believe might help Sellers and/or Buyers in the Pelican Bay market.  Last Sunday's edition of the Naples Daily News published an article from bankrate.com that I think Sellers should take a moment to read.

Sales Incentives Work Only If Price Is Right is a good article that discusses offering different sales incentives to Buyers or selling brokers.  While offering Buyers cars, boats, gift cards at interior design studios and even pets might make your home attract more showings, pricing your home at market price is still the main component in getting your home sold.

One of the incentives mentioned in this article is to increase the showing brokers commission pay out.  Did you know that showing Realtors® can search the MLS by the commission amount they will be paid?  Given the amount of listings on the market, some Realtors® would prefer to only show homes that pay out a higher commission rate.  I have had success in the past with increasing  showing brokers commission amounts to increase showings and ultimately get my listings SOLD.
