PLANTING
Dig the hole twice as large as the pot, the palm is in. Use your shovel to measure the depth of the pot. Put Black Kow manure in the bottom of the hole and place the palm directly on it. Black Kow manure (yellow bag with black cow on it) will not burn the palm roots. Dribble water in with the dirt when filling in around the palm so no air pockets are left. Step on the dirt and pack it down after filling in the hole. Then water again.
Do not cover the base of the palm, but be sure to cover all of the roots, but no more than a half inch of dirt over the pot depth.
Do not leave any air pockets, it will kill the palm.
Planting trees are like planting your future. They give you many rewards over the
years and add value to your property.
IMPORTANT: PALM TREES NEED TO BE WATERED EVERYDAY FOR THE FIRST MONTH AND THEN EVERY OTHER DAY FOR THE NEXT MONTH.
Never let them sit in water.
