Through Saturday, July 17. Hair. Trustus brings a classic musical to the summer months! In the age of Aquarius, a time of harmony and understanding, sex and drugs are used as vehicles to evade reality and the establishment. Skin colors are insignificant, and the spirit of communal living finds its expressions in yearnings. Friday, July 16. Free Concert! Come out for our FREE summer concert series, featuring concerts and kids' entertainment from 7-9pm! Bring your lawn chairs and enjoy the weather with us! This week featuring DB Bryant! Visit the Village at Sandhill for more information.
 
 
 
Friday, July 16. Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs. The 2nd annual series benefiting Harvest Hope Food Bank and A Home In Haiti is here! Enjoy a free movie, free drinks, free popcorn, and free Sno Cones. The Chick-fil-a cows will be around as well as a bounce house and a chance to win great giveaways to area restaurants and attractions. Saturday, July 17. Carnival of Savings! The Five Points Association is hosting a unique summer event for people of all ages to celebrate the daytime life of Five Points. Enjoy free fun while helping to boost summer sales for the independent retail merchants. From enjoyable activities on the streets to carnival games inside merchants’ stores, the day will be full of summer joy for the whole family! 11am-3pm. Visit Five Points for more information.

Saturday, July 17. 4th Annual Rock the Dock. It's that time again! Come out by land or lake...just don’t forget your swimsuit and dancing shoes! There will be live music on stage with DJ ZnFlo and DJ Wade Wade spinning at noon. Gates open at 11am, tickets are available in advance at Etix for $20 or $30 day off at the door. 21 & up. Sunday, July 18. Arboretum. Located east of Shandon in the Sherwood Forest neighborhood is a seven-acre tract with a long looping trail which makes navigating the USC Belser Arboretum a breeze. The wooden chip path crosses over a stream by waterfalls, and to a lovely Zen garden. Volunteers have put up dozens and dozens of unobtrusive tags and plaques explaining it all. On the third Sunday of every month, it opens its doors to the public for three hours. What a nice way to spend a Sunday afternoon! Visit the Arboretum for additional information.
