It is Easter weekend and Lake Wedowee is near full pool. With all the rain we have had over the last few weeks, it has been an easy task for this big fish pond to fill up. It is a great time to come visit! According to Alabama Power we are about 3 inches from full pool. Typically Lake Wedowee doesn't reach full pool until May 1 but because of the continuing dry conditions, the Corp of Engineers gave APCO a variance this year which means we get to enjoy the lake earlier than usual.

This also means that the lake properties for sale are lookinng their best as far as water level goes.
