The link issue is resolved.. Guess I just had to reboot after deleting McAfee..
Next issue is that I want to forward certain e-mail to my cell.. I can do it fine with my AOL acct, but not thru Outlook.. Course that could be a MCFee problem also.. Haven't tried it since deleting..
What do you think?
Rob
BTW.. I have a Palm Centro w/ e-mail serv thru GoDaddy..
Rob
I guess I shouldn't have assumed you were rebooting... my bad.
You can forward email to your cell from outlook... but, that is usually done through text messages, and text messages have limits in size so it will normally be truncated. Just set up a rule in Outlook that forwards the mail from people you want to respond to quickly. If you forward all mail it may get a little old fast, but that depends on how many emails you get daily.
The US cell carriers use your phone_number@carrier.com format for SMS to text capable cell phones, with a limit of 160 characters in both the subject and message body:
To use one, forward the email to:
AT&T - phone_number@mms.att.net
Sprint - phone_number@messaging.sprintpcs.com
T-mobile - phone_number@tmomail.net
Verizon - phone_number@vtext.com
There are of course other cell phone companies, and you may have to look up their information, but that's usually just a visit to their web site. I wrote a program that allows more flexibility that works with Outlook, just in case you are interested. It's at www.realwebleadmanager.com and it does a lot more than just send text messages to cell phones, that is only one of its features. But you can read about that on the web site and watch the short video of its primary use, processing web leads for Outlook.
You can make a rule to just forward the message and the cell phone company will cut off what it can't use.
Hope this helps!

Hi Laura,
Sorry I didn't answer this sooner. When I set up this group I picked the option that only group members posts would be automatically approved and seen immediately. I didn't even know several posts were waiting for me to approve them as I did not go to the manage section in this group... maybe I missed some indicator that some messages needed approval. It did keep a couple of spammers from posting junk in here, but there were also a couple of messages posted that I will try to answer now that I know they are here... and of course visible. :-)
Outlook can be "web based" if you rent an exchange server mail box. At that point you can do just about anything to your database from a browser after you log in. Some of the features aren't as robust on the web as they are on your desktop, but they are available nevertheless.
If you do a lot of emailing, my suggestion would be to get Blackberry's. Set up Outlook 2003 or 2007 and get your TP data moved over to Outlook. Get an exchange server mailbox, 123Together.com is my current favorite hosting service, we use them ourselves. They won a 2008 award from Microsoft for their outstanding service, and that says a lot.
Once you're set up, you can work from your phone, the internet, and your computer.

I use RealeSeller myself and like the addition of many fields that are applicable to Real Estate. I have had the pleasure of talking with Larry and Mike down at RealeSeller. Like with any software program there can be issues that come up, but what I like is how quickly they are taken care of. Larry and Mike are VERY knowledgeable with their product and how it interacts with Outlook. I consider myself fairly knowledgeable with Outlook and i am very happy with this product.
Hi Kirk,
Thanks for the kind words... I just found them in the approval list... glad I went to the manage posts section to look around. As usual, anyone with questions or issues and we'll do our best to answer and/or fix the problems as fast as humanly possible.

How long have you been using RealeSeller?
I have been using it for about a year. Based on some of the issues I have had I think I challenge the product more than most. I use the calculators, properties, Realeplans, mail merge, etc. and had found a few issues. Some of the issues might have been with my computer also and they also helped with trying to solve that also. Mike and Larry try very hard to make sure you are happy with the product and make quick changes when you point out an issue.
Have you found particular issues with Vista v XP and any way to work around them? I haven't had any real problems with Vista while others have and I'm wondering if it's because I don't know what I'm missing or just lucky (tolerant).
I do have issues with zipforms. Can't get the email function to work. Is it my computer's setup or is it a zipform problem?
