<p> What is the purpose of the delivery receipt? I need proof of delivery. The read receipt is optional and often not returned. I have Outlook 2003. I receive an occasional read receipt, never a delivery, although I ask for both. </p> <p> Juanita </p>

<p> Suddenly, my outgoing emails are not being delivered, even though they leave the outbox and show up in the Sent list. I can receive emails but can&#39;t send (unless I&#39;m sending to myself - then they&#39;ll show up on my other computer in the Inbox). Any advice? Comcast says it is a problem on my computer, not on their end. </p>

<p> <strong>Microsoft Office 2010 - A first look</strong><br /> If you haven&#39;t seen anything about Office 2010 yet, that&#39;s because there isn&#39;t much out there about it. But, back on May 15, 2009 I attended a meeting about the upcoming release of Windows 7 and there was also some discussion about the release of Office 2010 either late this year, or sometime in the first half of 2010. At the meeting, it seemed that sometime in 2010 was most likely and nothing I&#39;ve heard makes me think that Office 2010 will be released before years end.<br /> <br /> There are some visual changes to Outlook itself, and some not so obvious changes that at first glance you can&#39;t see. Below is the current view of Outlook 2010. They may change some before the actual release candidate version as this is Alpha. The ribbon has not appeared in Outlook. Why they didn&#39;t do it in version 2007 I&#39;ve never been able to understand. Anyway, those of you using Office 2007 can see that other than the ribbon, it looks pretty much the same on the surface. I&#39;ll post other info about this as I get it.<br /> <img border="0" src="http://www.doubledensitysoftware.com/allthingsoutlook/office2010firstlook001.png" width="599" height="425" alt="" /><br /> <br /> Here is a look at the new email window. There are a lot of new things to help make sure the email format is correct and being sent to valid individuals. Other than the ribbon, no big changes.<br /> <img border="0" src="http://www.doubledensitysoftware.com/allthingsoutlook/office2010firstlook002.png" width="599" height="375" alt="" /><br /> <br /> One of the biggest changes being made is to the web based side of Outlook 2010. The ribbon, or as Microsoft references it &quot;The Office Fluent user interface&quot; (Isn&#39;t that a mouth-full of nonsense?) should be showing up even on the web applications side. This should make it better as the web side of Outlook as it currently exists has the feel of many late 80&#39;s early 90&#39;s applications. Crude in other words. So that&#39;s some good news.<br /> <br /> Other good news is that Office 14 (2010) for the web is supposed to run on the Mac. At least that is what they said at the 2008 Professional Developers Conference. It is supposed to run on operating systems other than Windows. This means that it should run on a Mac and Linux. I will withhold judgments on that until I actually see it. As I discover more, I&#39;ll let you know.<br /> <br /> Anyway, that&#39;s the current &quot;skinny&quot; available for now. I should have more over the next couple of weeks. Currently we have been testing RealeSeller on Windows 7 and it appears to have no issues and is pretty much the same (behind the scenes) as Windows Vista, but it is much improved and I&#39;m looking forward to upgrading all my computers to Windows 7. So that&#39;s good news. We are currently making changes in RealeSeller so that it will be compatible with Office 2010 when it is available. I&#39;ll keep you posted as to how that is going, but so far so good. <p> I have set up distribution lists such as &quot;clients&quot; and send them under bcc but when they go through the names of the individuals show. Is there a way to prevent that from happening? </p>

<p> If I go back to a message and edit it, it seems like Outlook will not send that message. I go to the outbox, double click to open the message. Add a person to whom to send or make a change in the body. Then I hit send. I then hit F9 to send/receive. It never sends. I have to redo the message and send. </p> <p> Any thoughts/suggestions? <p> When I upgraded to 2007 I learned from this group the multiple signature feature whioch worked for adding different Ps&#39;s after choosing the signature was no longer functional. </p> <p> Some time later I discovered quick parts for storing and retrieving pieces of text used over and over again in different e-mails or sections of Word. </p> <p> My question is where do these go? After I create what I feel is good text in an e-mail I will use for multiple clients asking for feedback from a showing I store it in Quick parts. Next time I boot my machine it is gone. This quick parts if I can get it to work will be great for the PS&#39;s too. </p> <p> </p>

<p> I have had an outging message stuck in my outbox for weeks and it is really messing up/slowing down my program. It was too large of a file to send. Deleting it isnt&#39; working because it says it is in progress. I have tried opening it and moving to a new file but that doesn&#39;t work either. Any suggestions. FRUSTRATED! </p>

<p> When making a rule for certain emails to go to certain folders, I accidentally made an extra folder which I had to delete. Now each time I get email from that source, they send me 2 of the same emails. How do I stop that? </p>
