First time Real Estate blogger |
I have been hearing about blogging in Real Estate for the last year so I decided to find out what the buzz is all about. I've talked to several other agents who have blogs and I still don't know when they find the time to write. I am forcing myself to do this now to see how long it takes and if I will be any good at it. I have been married for 33 years and have a daughter and a son. My daughter is getting married next week. My son owns and operates an auto body shop in Alameda called Alameda Classic Auto Body. Currently I have 4 transactions going with 2 to close in the next week. Although the press has been full of doom and gloom, I am having a great year. We live in Alameda which is a small town in the middle of the San Francisco Bay Area. We have the best of all worlds as all the benefits of San Francisco are only 20 minutes away and we get to live on an island in the Bay. The town has buildings ranging from Victorians to modern buildings. I love living here and I love helping buyers and sellers. My business seems to be fairly split between first time home buyers and Sellers. My passion is helping people get into their first home. There is nothing like the excitement, mixed with nerves, sharing this with people experiencing the process for the first time. In fact,I have to go right now and meet 2 of my buyers to check on the condition of their new home which is scheduled to close on Friday...

Blogging can be fun and if you target your post your realtown blog can be ranked in Google within 24 hours thus pushing traffic to your sites.
This is one reason blogging is popular. You can also make many new contacts and friends from your blog which is another.
I am sure you will have fun.
