I'm preparing for the DRE exam soon and will be looking for a broker to work for. I have a full time job right now and am looking to start selling real estate on a part time basis. Do brokers hire part time agents? Unfortunately I have to start out part time until I can build up a reserve to go full time. Any advise or help would be appreciated.

Most Brokers would like you to work full time.... but it is a business. It will take 3-5 years to get enough clientel to actually make a living at it. If you are in terrific financial shape, I would say 'Go for it'....

But if you are like the rest of us... be prudent and wise with your money and time.!! Good Luck!!!
