Well, it is a beautiful Monday afternoon in Hilton Head!  I have just spent the weekend with buyers from two different states that are purchasing in the area.  I asked, as I always do, "Why the Hilton Head area?"  The response I usually receive has to do with the beaches, the natural beauty, the lifestyle, weather, golf, tennis, or any of the other wonderful attributes of our beautiful island.

The response this time, however, really made me think.  Both couples said the same thing.  They have always wanted to live here but never thought they would be able to afford it.  Now, with prices within reason, sellers being flexible and interests being low, they are making their dreams come true.

How wonderful that some people are looking past the doom and gloom of the media and seeing the silver lining.  Both couples acknowledged they had put off buying because of what they were hearing on the nightly news.  Then they realized that if they wait until the market is on an upswing, they will probably be priced out of the market.  Again!

So, I guess the moral of the story is you must learn to think for yourself and look out for what is best for your future.  Dreams can indeed come true!
