Some good news on the real estate front. An article in the Associated Press with reference to the Standard & Poor's/Case-Shiller Index revealing that a possible bottom and the possible beginnings of a reverse are in store for home prices.

This index is widely trusted and carries some real weight with investors and economists. This is very encouraging news. Many of my clients have been waiting and waiting and waiting ,to make a move. The wait may be over.

Also, the 8K first-time home buyers credit deadline looms large. Of course, my main work in the real estate market concerns second home sales, thus leaving me out of having many opportunities to serve the first-time home buyer, but that deadline, coupled with the latest results of the Case/Shiller Index, make a very strong case for those who are able (qualify), should give some serious thought to stepping up to the plate asap.
