Does anyone know of a product to help the self employed get financed. My clients were pre-approved yet when it came to light, during job verification prior to closing, that they are business owners, the loan went south! They have owned the business for less than a year having moved from another State. Help please??

I had a similar situation last year (although my clients had been in business for several years the business was seasonal) and was really pleased with the company we found to handle the financing - they were efficient and flexible but they are local to the Northeast. I would guess that a big part of your client's problem is that the business is new.

Barbara,

Please send me an email offline at gwysocki@RochesterAndOaklandHomes.com. I may be able to put you in touch with someone who can help you. I have to do some research.

We are involved in an end-buyer financing initiative that looks like it may be quite well-received. I can tell you more after finding out more about your particular situation.
