On average 3-4 months. Chase is not in the worst group but they are in the middle. I find that you need to call them at least 3 times a week to be sure they are moving the file forward. Then once the file has been assigned you have to work a little to get a e-mail address for the Loss Mit. It will take several tries, sooner or later you get someone off guard and they will slip.

This is all I do, all day long. I have cleint all over the country and for one it is about being on the phone.

Have you verified that Chase has the information.

I list short sales and touch base 2 - 3 times a week with them all then forward info to buyer agent. Some are good, others not, but not all 'normal deals' require less time either. This is just what agents do for a living, communicate, move, push, explain, have deals fall apart, start all over, spend more money and time. And people think it's easy to sell their house on their own? I do this 50 -60 hours a week, I can't imagine someone with a job doing this. Loan mods aren't any easier either!

I also am curious as to why there are two groups on RT dealing with short sales..they should be merged into ONE group so we can all benefit.
