Internet fax service

I use Accessline.com.
It is a "follow me anywhere" phone/fax service. I have just the one number on my business cards. Faxes can be saved (in your account), faxed or e-mailed to another party. Can retrieve faxes anywhere you have access to the internet.
The phone can be set to VM, ring-through to cell, office, home, or any other phone number I choose. Retrieve voicemails from any phone line or the internet. Saves cell minutes listening to VM. Also able to e-mail voicemails you receive to a 3rd party.
Cost runs about $23/month. A little bit more than the fax only solutions, but the convenience of one # and the phone capabilities are worth it.
Hey Ckentnor
What is the source of your information about the fact that efax.com is being bought by myfax.com?
efax.com is a public company with a market cap of almost a Billion dollars. MyFax.com seems to be a big company but not anything as close as to efax.com... I'd be interested to see where your source of the takeover comes from.. Thank you
Warm wishes

Depending on what you need to accomplish, eFax or MyFax can be good choices. You might also check out HP 6500 and 8500 all-in-one printers. You can receive faxes and have them saved automatically on your computer for later retrieval. You can scan a document to PDF, and send a PDF to a fax machine. All very easy to do for about $300, with no ongoing subscription. If you want a dedicated fax #, that's obviously optional through your carrier.
