Hi Linda

Most people have their own preference of course which is why I think you should check out http://reviews.cnet.com/camcorders/?tag=TOCleftColumn.0

Here you'll see all cameras available on the market, be able to filter based on the criterias that you're looking for, price and compare the ones that you like the best.

Best of wishes

I am also looking for a wide-angle accessory kit for my Canon Powershot. I am thinking maybe it would be best to just buy a new camera versus purchasing the kit. What are your thoughts

The best camera I have found for real estate is the Samsung HZ15W.

Priced between $249.-$279

Has a wide angle for taking pictures of those small rooms and great video quality.

Search for a good value on nextag.com
