I started this week at Keller Williams here in southern California. So far I have attended a couple of their classes and have had lots of support there. I have a continual thirst for more knowledge in this industry and want to sell a house or find a buyer ASAP. Is there a good website that promotes continual and on going training and education in addition to what I am getting at Keller Williams? Any advise for trade publications? I'm reading books and articles everyday to get a good jump start on this new (unfortunately part time) career.

Sorry to be blunt with you.

Education without application is useless. (as preached by Floyd Wickman, Dirk Zeller and Gary Keller)

I am not with KW, but know the system very well, by learning more, you will not sell more....

Learn something (be on purpose) apply it..... Learn the next application, apply it.... stay focussed on;

lead generation, lead conversion, build relationships, close for contracts, appointments or referrals.

become the master of one hard (cold call, FSBO, Expired) prospecting technique and one soft (networking, sphere, open houses) and use them to build you met and not met DB.

work 2-3 hours a day on lead generation, 2-3 hours a day on lead servicing (making listing presentations, closing buyers) 1-2 hour a day on study your craft.

live a Pfanntastic Life,,,,,,, have Pfunn.

Notwithstanding what Peter said above, I'm pleased to see you believe that education is not a destination, but a journey. One of the best places to see what is out there is www.coursecalendar.com. it lists all the available designation and certification courses, where they're located, whom to call, and searchable by different means. As an educator, I believe you should get your ABR asap, become e-PRO Certified, immediately apply, as Peter said, what you're learning right away. Most instructors plan the course to make the material applicable, but it's really up to the student to "take home" their learning and apply it. Attend your State Association's educades, and, if possible, the NAR convention. There is more education in those few days than you can get anywhere. And, you can write it off. Do what Peter said in his reply. And continue taking what KW offers too. Bless your efforts with abundance.
