Does anyone have experience with REPLY.com?

I received a call from a representative of this lead generation company. They told me they have a lead for an agent in my area and as no one is covering this area, would I like to be that agent? It is a very reasonable fee considering the potential but I am becoming synical of all the ways that companies are set up to help and a lot of them are LESS than ethical. I would appreciate any stories...horror or otherwise.

A few years ago, I subscribed to Reply.com and found the leads to be awful. People will peruse the internet simply looking out of curiosity. Reply.com, Justlisted.com, jJustsold.com captures those leads.
The individual may or may not be ready to buy or sell. Of course, if you stay in contact with that person for 6 month to 2 years, they then may be at that stage. You can do as well simply cold-calling from a phone book..
There should never be any reason to purchase outside leads if you are keeping a good data base and staying in touch with past clients. I would defiantly stay away from contracts to purchase leads where they promise you all good leads and lock you into a monthly payment. If they were so good why would they need to lock you into a contract. You would never want to leave if the leads were good. I personally like listening to the Cd's that David Knox puts out. He walks you through the steps of getting past clients to help you build a steady stream of leads. David has put out First Tuesday (free) on his web site to help Realtors thought these tough times. You can find his web site at www.davidknox.com. He is a fantastic person who really cares about people.
Or you can try 30 days free at realtyclients.net I became sick of paying for leads so I developed this system with a programmer. It will still cost if you want to keep it but no where near what some cost.
I agree there has to be an online way to get some extra leads.
