I am wanting to take the e-Pro course even though what I have read it is geared to the U.S. rather than Canadian realtors.  I search as to when to sign up and am somewhat confused since it is being offered by several different people.

Any recommendations where to start with this?

Thank you.

It's easy to get confused Pat. There are quite a few of us Certified e-PRO Trainers going around and offering 1 1/2 hour e-PRO workshops. To receive your discount on the e-PRO Designation course (taken entirely online), go to: http://josephmarovich.certifiedeprotrainer.com and after finding my picture and clicking on my website and perusing the site for questions and answers, topics covered, sample quizzes, etc., click on registration form and put in this scholarship number on the registration: "Scholarship # 40093". $25 will be deducted from the $359 tuition.

Joeseph is the greatest, I recommend you do this immediately. It makes no matter whether you are in Canada or the U.S. dealing with tech savvy clients is a world wide issue.

Joesph is highly involved in real estate, and you'll be in good hands with e-PRO. I've been an e-PRO since it was first invented, one of the first beta testers, and it has made me TONS of money, not to speak of standing apart from the crowd. Especially if you are in Canada where there are few of them.

The RT team who admins this now is one of the best in the business and their customer service is excellent. They also have many other products you should consider ie: getting your own domain name so if you switch offices and leave - you don't lose your database if you have yourname@youremailaddress.com. NEVER link your email address to your company!!

Do it NOW. You'll be glad you did and so will your pocketbook ;-)

How do you get the "certification" without the classes and the hefty fee?

If you're already a tech, a former systems analyst and have been on the Internet, writing web pages and teaching other agents nationwide how to write web pages -- and you keep up with all the latest little Internet and techie things -- then is there a competency test to get the designation?

Not easily confused and ePro before ePro was cooked up,

Hi Peggy

You have very impressive credentials. Sorry to disappoint you, but there is no path to instant e-PRO status.

During the eight years the e-PRO program has existed, there has not been a test out alternative, by design. To achieve certification, all students must participate in the online community features of the program in addition to taking the full curriculum. We find that the online community participation is an important part of the e-PRO experience and continues the learning process long after the final exam.

I hope you elect to join the e-PRO community. Good luck to you in your endeavors and in your real estate career.

Regards,

John Reilly
