Domain name

You can own common mis-spellings of your name. We can all have opinions about this, so it is a matter of what you want to promote. Once again, for me, and during my career listing, selling, and managing real estate, it was me and my reputation (tied to my name) that were my most valuable marketing asset. And for those that think a real estate business of an agent can be sold, my questions still stand and would make for interesting conversation.

Some good advice, Drew. But I caution everyone to not limit yourself in terms of a domain name. Get your permanent eMail address first and then as many "niche" domains or "marketing" domains as needed.
Acquiring your unique domain name is the first step in your Internet marketing plan. With e-mail forwarding, you are able to use your domain name as your permanent e-Mail address. E-mail that is sent to your "Permanent e-Mail Address" is then forwarded to the e-mail address where you currently access your e-mail. If you change Internet Service Providers, simply change the forwarding to your new provider. Your e-mail address is an asset of your business... never change e-mail addresses again!
