Agape Senior of Irmo SC Hosts Family Night

Agape Senior Assisted living will be having a "Disco Party" family fun night this Thursday Sept 24th, starting at 5:30 P.M. at the Harbison campus in Irmo.

Amy Smith, the Life Enrichment Coordinator has designed this "Disco Themed" event for the residents, and their family members. There will be food, drinks, games, and of course disco music. Wear your disco gear, there will be a prize for the best dressed.

Music has a way of making people feel good. It also has a way of bringing people together in a fun social setting. Contemporary dancing music began with the disco movement in the 1970's. Disco found its roots in the memorable beats of funk and rhythm and blues from the late 1960s and early 1970s.

"We look for fun activities where our residents can get involved, and also provide an opportunity for their family and friends to visit" stated Amy. So dig out your leisure suits and bust out your best dance moves. The Harbison Campus is going to disco.
