Sep. 13, 2006 - Ending The Year With A Bang

Can you believe that we are quickly approaching the LAST Quarter of the year??
How is it going? Are you on track for what you planned in your business plan for this year? If you haven't checked in with your numbers lately, do it today.
Why? So you can know what you need to do in the coming 3 months!

While some agents feel that they are at the mercy of the markets, I know agents who's 2006 is ahead of where they had envisioned and they are in those same markets as the ones whining. Now, I'm not going to say we aren't seeing some extreme differences...I am saying you don't need to panic and awfulize. Remember the concept that what you focus on expands. What are you focusing on? The opportunities? Or the bad press?

You can be one of the agents who is having their best year ever. It is up to you!

Actions To Take You There:

1. Review where you are Year To Date. Determine what do you need to do in the last quarter to accomplish your goal, if you are still committed to it (And why wouldn't you be?). If you really are not committed to that goal, choose the one you can commit to so you will be in integrity with yourself instead of resigned and being a person who gives up.

2. Now you know where you intend to go, get to work in creating the last quarter plan.

• If you are on track and the plan you have been using is producing what you need, hold the course.
• If you are ahead, you have some options! One goal I like to encourage my clients to hold is to finish their goals by mid-November, allowing them to relax and play when they want over the holidays!
• If you are behind, it's time to restrategize and stir up some cosmic dust. Not time to be a victim of the market. Time to react opposite of the rest of the depressed, sniveling agents! See what has been working and do more of that. Get creative! Pretend you are a brand new agent and don't know it's ever been any other way!
