I'm taking the e-pro cert coruse and your site was mentioned. I saw this subject so I'm resonding. Laughter is truely the best medicine and a helpful tool in real estate. I've been doing stand up comedy for 18 years and now sell real estate as well. Think there are enough funny stories in our business? I've started a one man show "A funny thing happened on the way to settlement" that I am currently performing at various board meetings and conventions.
Sample:
My friends make me laugh,they think because I'm in the business I can get them inexpensive real estate. They'll say can you find me something on the beach for like $20,000. Sure I say, I have the perfect thing, it's called a sand castle.

| I am with you Joeann. When someone really upsets me and there is no way to fix it - I make a joke out of it and it relieves the sting. Thereafter, when I think about it again the joke part comes to mind and it does not upset many anymore. I guess it is an odd way of dealing with a difficult person but it works for me! |

| Laughter is the best medicine. The proverb says laugh a day keeps the doctor away! And it's true. When thinking about alternative medicine, it is very easy to forget about the healing power of humor. As for me I like laughing people... It's very cool! |
