Sen. John McCain visits Sun City Center/Kings Point |
Senator John McCain (Rep.AZ) came to Sun City Center, Florida today in his quest for victory in the Florida Republican presidential primary.
Introduced by Al Hoffman, former chairman of WCI Corporation, the current developer of Sun City Center, Sen. McCain told the standing-room-only crowd why he should be their choice in Tuesday's primary.
Sen. McCain was accompanied by his wife, Cindy, as the campaign stopped in SCC with only two more days of active campaigning before the election.
Securing the help of Mr.Hoffman for the Florida primary and perhaps beyond is considered a coup by political observers. Mr. Hoffman served in leadership roles in the elections of former Governor Jeb Bush and President George Bush. Mr. Hoffman was appointed ambassador to Portugal by President Bush. No longer with WCI, Mr. Hoffman is said to be planning a re-entry in the real estate business with Hoffman Partners.
