To Our Friends and Neighbors Who Have Been Affected by The Recent Fire

Written by our Broker/owner Steven Keefe

Super Scooper picking up water in Big Bear Lake

We as a company and and individuals offer our heartfelt thoughts and prayers for our friends and neighbors that have been affected by the terrible events of the last few days.

Our firefighters and law enforcement teams performed miracles in minimizing the damage to the Lake Arrowhead area. I personally witnessed many acts of heroism by individuals protecting our beautiful community. Most of Lake Arrowhead is untouched and unaffected. Unfortunately the tracts above the golf course adjacent to National Forest land were most significantly affected as well as the neighboring communities of Green Valley Lake and Running Springs.

I am told as of this morning that Monday is the tentative date that it may be determined safe enough for our community to return to the mountain. Having endured the last go around with the old fire, I know how difficult it is to be away from home. It is important to be patient and know that the support teams are working like mad to get everyone home.

Edison is diligently working to repair and restore power systems so that when the community returns, it is safe and utilities have been restored.

As a company, we will be focused on assisting in any way the individuals affected by this tragedy. If we can be of assistance to you, please do not hesitate to contact my office at 909.336.2131 or me personally via email at jhgalligan@msn.com . We are committed to our community are an available resource willing to help.

Thank you and God Bless you all.

• - Lake Arrowhead Lake Fronts and Life Styles

Lake Arrowhead, CA is a resort community 1 1/2 hours or less from most Southern California cities. We are located at 5100' elevation and considered the jewel in So-Cal. We are a popular destination for hikers, skiers, boaters, campers, shoppers or anyone looking to escape. We offer a variety of restaurants, Outlet Stores, Specialty Stores and other popular attractions. Lake Arrowhead village hosts year-round activities, our personal favorite is the Summer Concert Series. We enjoy all 4 seasons here with something for everyone. While everyone can enjoy the village and surrounding activities, it is a private Lake and only those with "Lake Rights" can enjoy the water activities, like putting a boat on the water, swimming, & fishing. It is a sense of community and the exclusive rights that keep Lake Arrowhead in this Pristine condition.
