SoCal CRS 2008 Donation to Temecula Habitat for Humanity

Jan. 14, 2009
Categorized in: Fundraising

Southern California CRS was proud to support the Inland Yalley Chapter of Habibat for Humanity in 2008 as we did in 2007.

Through our annual fund raising efforts throughout the year in our commitment to the Chapter with a Heart mission, Southern California CRS donated $520 at the end of 2008 to the Temecula Chapter (we also supported 4 other Chapters in our region). Additional donations of $240 were raised during our big fund raising effort at our Q3 Membership meeting in Temecula with our Silent and Live Auctions.

Southern California CRS Board of Directors member Vicki Puterbaugh, who is also on the Board of Directors for the Inland Valley Chapter of Habitat for Humanity, presented the check.

Thanks to all of our SoCal CRS members who so generously support our fundraising. And thank you for the Inland valley Habitat for Humanity Chapter for the valuable work you do to provide housing for needy families in the area.

Here's a brief video of our 2008 Fund Raising efforts for which we received the Chapter with a Heart Award.

Preparations for the SDAR Trade Expo

May. 3, 2007
Categorized in: Meetings

I am off to the trade show today (the day before) to set up the CRS booth. I've not done this before but I am told it is easy. We'll see.

A number of you have signed up to help staff the booth tomorrow - I am looking forward to meeting those of you I don't already know. And I sincerely appreciate your help.

Don't forget to sign up to attend the show. The exhibit hall is FREE but if you want to attend the luncheon (with speaker) or the seminars there is a cost.

Stop back in a few days if you don't get there. I will post pictures of the booth and the show itself.

I am looking forward to a fun day with lots of things to learn AND a chance to meet some attendees who are interested in becoming a CRS.

Most of you reading this are probably a CRS, but if you aren't one yet, you should seriously consider it - take YOUR career to the next level with some of the best training out there.

Categorized in: General Information

I assume everyone is aware of the upcoming REALTOR Expo being sponsored by SDAR and held on May 4, 2007, from 9 am until 5 pm. There will be seminars, a luncheon with a speaker, and of course the exhibit hall. Make your plans to spend some time here and taking your business to the next level (see link directly below for more information).

TRADE EXPO "Tools for Your Trade"

I sent around an email a few weeks ago to solicit volunteers to help me staff the SoCalCRS booth in the exhibit hall. Thanks for your great response and enthusiasm. I have all the shifts filled with some extra folks who plan to stop by to help as well.

I look forward to seeing you there!
